HAVING achieved a record efficiency in 2020, two established home-grown grocery retailers, 99 Speedmart and KK Super Mart, will step up growth plans this yr. ninety nine Speed Mart Sdn Bhd plans to open a mean of 25 shops a month whereas KK Supermart & Superstore Sdn Bhd is planning on some 10 shops a month. Avenue Supermarts, the proprietor of D-Mart, has bought a 47,000 sq ft space in Migsun’s Rohini Mall in Delhi for Rs 108 crore. Migsun group is creating a million sq ft of retail space in Delhi’s Rohini space.
